THIS SITE IS DEDICATED TO THE FALLEN VICTIMS OF MR. HITLER'S NEIGHBORHOOD. THEY WERE REAL CHILDREN WITH REAL LIVES. THE QUALITY OF THEIR LIVES WAS TAKEN FROM THEM IN MR. HITLER'S NEIGHBORHOOD

In the early 1960's I met Eldon D. Baird. He was in the Navy. Eldon had been expelled from school because he had made a tattoo on his hand that resembled a tattoo of a Mexican gang. Eldon had nothing to do with the gang and only put it on his hand because he thought it was a cool symbol. After his expulsion he was too young to get a job so he joined the military. Eldon said that joining the military was his only way he could survive.
